Sain asiakkaalta luvan julkaista enemmän kuvia edellisen päivityksen projektista - teholähdekotelosta. Kotelo on nyt valmistunut. With the permission from my client I can now publish more pictures about project I told in my last update, the amplifier box. It's now ready. Ventilation for electronics is needed. The air comes in from holes in the bottom of the box and goes out from the clef shaped hole in the upper deck. Both holes are covered with steel net.
Kotelon jälkeen aloitin uuden projektin, piilosenkkausliitoksilla tehdyn kotelon. Kuvassa kotelon rungon osat ennen kokoonpanon liimausta. Piilosenkattuliitos jää nimensä mukaan piiloon valmiissa tuotteessa.
I already started a new project after the amplifier box. It's also kind of a box that joints (hidden dovetail) are made special way. They are hidden in the ready made product.
Laatikon sivulevyt ja kansi ovat afrikkalaista mustaa puuta. Laatikosta puuttuu vielä nuppi ja kannesta nostokahva, jotka tehdään myös samasta puusta kuin kansi. Kun kotelo on valmis, liitän siitä seuraavaan päivitykseen kuvan.
The side panels of the drawer and the top are made of African black wood. The drawer is still missing a knob and the top is missing a lifting handle. Those will be made from the same wood as the top.
